To safeguard our community, Pexels uses both automated tools and human moderation to detect, review, and take action on content or behavior that violates our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Service (together, ‘our standards’).
Our standards prohibit:
- illegal content, including terrorism, child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA), fraud, scams, and other unlawful activity; and
- harmful content that may not be illegal, such as sexually explicit or violent material.
We use automated checks, including machine-learning tools, primarily to detect fraudulent content. Any flagged content is reviewed by trained moderators. We also rely on user reports to help us identify content or behavior that violates our standards.
