We’ve decided to change the Pexels’ entity name to Canva Germany GmbH.
As you know, Pexels has been part of Canva since 2019 and this change will allow us to streamline things here behind the scenes and on paper. Pexels will continue to look, feel and be called, Pexels.
We've also updated our Terms and Privacy Policy, to make them clearer and simpler. The important updates are:
-
We’ve now made clear that we do not allow the upload of content created with Generative AI to Pexels.
-
We have changed the way we notify you of changes to our terms. If the changes are material, we will inform you through the Pexels site and/or by email, as we have done in the past.
-
We’ve made clear that Pexels may redistribute Content uploaded to Pexels on or through the Pexels service or via other methods, including via an API.
-
We now provide more information on the type of information we collect about you when you use the Pexels Services and how advertising functions on our Services.
You may also see some other updates, including our About Us page or email footers. However, we want to assure you that our brand, community, and operations will carry on as usual.
Wish us luck with updating lots of paperwork!
